I absolutely love the use of visual aids with this. I understand things much more easily that way. I also like that this was easy, fast and didn't cost a fortune since I needed to have this for a work-related event. I didn't feel pressured and feel like thoughtful analysis was put into the evaluation.

Truity's TypeFinder (similar to MBTI) is an economical way to learn more about yourself. I've taken other free online assessments like MBTI but Truity's TypeFinder full report goes deeper. For example, you're assessed by percentage across ALL 16 types; allowing you to see (hence better understand) the nuances and overlap you might have with other types. Then, each of your types are broken down further across various categories and facets. Truly worth the time and investment. This is a great consumer-facing product and as such Truity is fulfilling its mission to make assessments available and affordable to all.

Raised by stiff upper lip English parents I was a college chemistry major, then medical school, then internal medicine (a problem solving specialty that involves detective work) then lung disease and intensive care. I became an ICU director early at a university teaching hospital. The ICU is a small, multi-disciplinary team that provides better care when all the various professions (nurse, respiratory therapist, pharmacist, social worker, dietitian, chaplain) are encouraged to bring their expertise to bear. My role was to lead and coordinate all this which is classic INTJ. At the same time there are daily interactions with sick patients and their families. My early experience with Myers-Briggs was full INTJ which really fit. The next time my profile was INTP which was confusing. Now this time there was more extrovert, sensing and perceiving than expected. Purchasing the enhanced analysis and report really helped clarify these findings. Decades of teaching mostly at the bedside, but also leading family meetings and teaching in lecture halls likely explained the shift away from more pure introvert. 40 years of dealing with people in the worst times of their lives had exposed me to their emotions which enhanced my sensing, feeling and perceiving capabilities. I had grown and evolved in response to these life experiences. The inner INTJ is still there but more nuanced now. Thank you so much for helping me understand these changes over time. It helps me feel more comfortable in my own skin.
