I took the Myers Briggs as it has been over 10 years since I took it last and I was curious if anything had changed. With Myers Briggs, you can google your results and learn what you need to learn from the free test, which I highly recommend to anyone that is about to leave a negative "bait and switch" style review. Just use some personal time to get some "sweat equity" from the free test. NOTE: No, I was not paid by Truity to leave a postive review, just annoyed with anyone complaining about something free and to many when I reviewed Trustpilot.com before taking the test. I did pay additional report because it is a good, cheap way to have a formal document to share with prospective hiring executives, team members, peers, mentors, mentees, and I think you know where I'm going with this reasoning. Thank you Truity!!!

Typefinder is one of the better personality tests on the internet today. I personally recommend Truity to many people because of the amount of tests on there and the simplicity of the tests. The only problem is though there are many direct questions which make the results more accurate, the test still uses leading questions on some, which can be confusing and alter the test results a little bit. The leading questions should be fixed to be more direct. This would give better results.

Very detailed analysis that does a good job explaining which traits are associated with which dimension. Very useful for self-exploration.

This was an interesting activity, to say the least. It was extremely spot on and it highlighted the changes I've made throughout the years. You never really think of the different facets of your own personality like that, so it honestly made me feel a little better about the type of person that I am. It also highlighted the reason why I never fully feel satisfied in my field of work. It doesn't align with who I am as an individual. I would highly recommend everyone to take this test and see their personality from a different perspective.

I thought my personality profile was very insightful. I married a career military officer so we moved a lot and I had several jobs over the years and many of the positions listed on my career profile were things I have done and really loved! Two of them aligned with my undergrad and graduate degrees! I love these tests and that also is in keeping with my personality.

I was skeptical about this kind of test. Though a person of high standing and career path said differently, they actually recommended I take it to better understanding myself. I was doubtful that it would help me better understand myself, nor did I think it would be able to generalize a concept of who I was. This test isn’t to specify one as an individual but rather, categories them in a group. It’s done so that it’s able to more accurately pinpoint key factors of one’s nature and then formulate a type of individuals in this aspect (16 types). It hit close to home, and maybe parts that I’m not truly aware as in some cases the heart (emotions) can overrule one’s analytical thought process or vice-versa. After reading this entirely it’s helped me better understand a few things about myself in a different prospective, and guide me in a general direction where I make the final decision. This is not a, “Who am I”, but rather who I can/want to be. Thank you Truity as it wasn’t expensive and yet very informative on the subject matter for me to make a decision and better understand certain aspects of my characteristics. If you’ve read this far I hope I made sense or help in some way, and thank you for reading/hearing my rant of me in your head with your voice 👀. (p.s. I honestly just want an ebook of this as well 😅) And so I end with this here 🫴🏽 a potato 🥔 please enjoy.

This was a helpful assessment. I am reflecting on myself, trying to use my strengths and values to help me define my career goals and this was helpful to go through.
