I thoroughly enjoyed this process and plan to be more mindful of my blinds spots while also gifting myself some grace. Such a great tool.

Though reluctant about taking the assessment, I must share I laughed at all the authenticity and accuracy of my experiences. I look forward to learning more!

The only reason I give this enneagram test a 4/5 stars is because I am not sure of it's accuracy. Really though, I suspect that is because my personality type (5) is quite analytical; therefore I am always re-assessing what I know to be true ;). I have taken the test many times, and believe I am some kind of chameleon, because It appears I can answer the questions in ways that make me a seven, a nine, and now ....a five! I identify with all three types very well. But also, clearly see myself in 1, 2, 3, and 8! This current test puts me in touch with five's tendency to individualism and isolation; two traits I also recognize as applicable to my personality; most probably because of having been raised in a situation where my emotions had to be checked at the door, for fear of punishment from a willful/violent Mother and a father who was passive (afraid of "checking" Mom) and proprietary in his expectations of his nine children. I am sorry that I can't attest to the enneagram's accuracy, because of my own lack of commitment re my answers ...lol! But at least this latest test, ascribing # 5 to me, attests to two personality traits I had been in denial about for many years. My tendency to hide away from the world has only become more apparent as the years have passed (69 yo now), and I have both recognized these tendencies, and tried to balance them with my desire to engage with life fully, because of my desire to always see/enjoy our Original Face in all I undertake. =)! I don't like it, but it is true that I have a tendency to stand back and observe, rather than engaging whole-heartedly with reality. It can be confusing for those I love, as I have a tendency to come and go; being hyper present when I show up, and then disappearing to re-charge. I appreciate now, that that tendency comes from the fear of being shamed off my enthusiasms, when I was just a teeny-tiny! Although I strive not to hide my light under the proverbial bushel basket; it seems to take an inordinate amount of courage, just to crawl out from underneath. I do that by purposefully going against my fears, and perspectives, seeing my personality as something malleable, since it isn't the Ground of All Being, itself. Courage, for me, is the order of the day, which leads to new vistas, both inside, and out. But rest, from the work of facing others, is also paramount. I imagine, the shame of having felt unwanted and unseen, while being used for narcissistic supply, is what makes me more a five than any other personality type. But my aim in understanding this thing called personality, is to come to a place where I love all personalities with a freedom that is centered, and grounded in both Awareness and Love for Life.

I always find these helpful. As a counselor myself, this helps me understand and adjust what I need to do in my field.

I found my Enneagram report to be very insightful and accurate! There were a lot of traits and qualities that I already recognized in myself, as well as some new ones that I had not verbalized previously but can definitely see in myself. I also found the recommendations to be very helpful. Would definitely recommend taking this test!

The explanation of my Enneagram type was pretty spot-on, with a few variations. I appreciated the various suggestions for growth. My biggest disappointment, is there was relatively little discussion of my 2nd highest ranked #, which in my case was 85% (which makes it seem significant) and directly across on the wheel. My main # is a 4, my next highest is an 8. I would think that would have a fairly noticeable impact on me, and I wish there was a discussion about how that personality trait influences my main personality trait, and the unique result that must come from that combination.

I've always preferred Enneagrams other the mainstream leadership/professional assessments. Additionally, these translates well into the cornucopia of other similar assessments
