First things first, I was worried about buying the report; would it be worth it? How much is it going to cost? But I was pleasantly surprised at its affordability at $19, so I took the plunge. The report was spot-on, even explaining why I wasn't sure if I should invest in it! (I'm very concerned with security and safety; money is a tool for security, so did I want to risk it? I thought the risk was worth it for the price, and I still agree with that assessment.) I'm a One, a perfectionist, which echoed what people have been telling me for quite some time, though I've only recently started accepting its truth.
So the report has several sections, including strengths, challenges, core belief, core weakness, core fear, core desire, and core traits. It discussed what I might experience emotionally, in relationships, and at work, and described likely childhood origins of our personalities. It described what our behavior and thoughts/feelings might look like when we're stressed versus thriving, and included information about two supporting aspects of our personality (wings) and two arrows pointing the way for growth. It recommends tasks on how to grow, and I laughed aloud when I read 'the mantra for Ones.' It's pretty much a secularized version of the Serenity Prayer, which oddly enough, is something I already repeat to myself often! I didn't expect to it see it right there in the report.
I was amazed by its accuracy, but, true to form as a One, I most appreciated the tips for growth. Some things related to Ones didn't seem accurate for me, but when I got to the section on Wings, the secondary characteristics of my personality, it became clear. Those supporting characteristics mitigate the more...extreme aspects of my personality. Some parts of the report were a bit painful to read, such as in the childhood origins section, as I remembered instances in which the report was accurate. It brought up some of the core fears that I have...which the report identified for me and spelled out, putting into words what I've struggled to articulate thus far. It also explained some of the more meaningful parts of my childhood when some adults gave me what I most needed to thrive, and I agree that those actions were necessary for me.
It was almost eerie how the report repeated certain things people have said to me. I've been told to lighten up and go play (which this report recommends...playfulness is a weakness of mine.), to go have fun and relax, that it's ok to make mistakes, that most mistakes (in the grand scheme of things) don't matter that much, that I'm worthy of love and acceptance, and to relieve some of the pressure that I place on myself. My therapist has been working with me on accepting 'good enough,' which is one of the tasks the report mentioned. Other things mentioned in the report that my therapist and I have discussed include being gentle with myself, trying to physically relax (I have chronic muscle tension/pain), and replacing negative thoughts from the inner critic with more positive and realistic ones. I have a worksheet devoted entirely to that last one; I believe it's part of CBT.
I thought the report was worth it. I'm stressed out right now, trying to figure out where I want to go in life, and this report added self-knowledge and nuance to my thoughts. I appreciated the insights into my strengths and weaknesses, which has helped me think about the type of career that would be best for me (being a freelance editor might not be such a terrible choice for a perfectionist). I appreciated the suggestions for growth, and it showed me how Ones might tend to behave badly, which can help me work on responding, rather than reacting. I can see that I've made progress and growth on my own, which I didn't really appreciate or acknowledge, because it didn't seem notable. I could only see how far I had to go, which is also aligned with being a One. Yes, there were things I already knew about myself and what I needed to work on, but the report articulated it into words and then went into more depth, including 'next steps,' and that was valuable.

Everyone should take this test. I recommend my friends and family to take the test. It’s spot on and very detailed. It explained deepest feeling and thoughts that I previously had no words to describe. Is worth your time and money!

It is somewhat confusing at times since the report seems to contradict itself . It would be more helpful if it gave me suggestions on how to interact with people in other categories. For example in my case-how would a nine and a seven work to support each other and lead both to growth? For an extra fee, you could ask test recipients to describe which category they would want to be compared and contrasted.

I have been on path to discover and learn more about myself and what makes me tick. I have been going to counseling to deal with some past traumas and better myself as a person. My counselor suggested taking an enneagram test. Truity has been the most accurate and descriptive test I’ve found. I am blown away at the detail. Some of them are a little too descriptive, and hard to swallow. But truth is truth. I’m excited to see what I can apply from this to my journey and to better understand myself and what makes me who I am. I recommend this for everyone!
